Stories Told in Ink

I’ve been drawing since childhood, largely with pen and ink. There’s a tangible human immediacy in it—one that can express motion and feeling more directly than spoken language ever can.

Surreal is Real

Everything we express is no longer “raw reality” by default. The articulation of the bodily self is, to a significant degree, interpretive—shaped by perception, framing, and the meanings we attach.

Nothing is Surreal

Any expression of self and any form of visualization are valid. I affirm my own standing in the world, and I also affirm that this is the framework through which I conceive of it.

In a world that seems to offer no inherent meaning, I generate meaning within it. The world bears significance for me; and that significance—made manifest through my perception—becomes meaning in the world.
